Newsletter - My Brother's Crawfish Remaining Open!

Lease
We at My Brother's Crawfish are very pleased to announce that a new lease with our landlord has been signed!  We have signed a new 5 year lease and are very excited about it! After announcing our business closure a few months back due to economic conditions and the cost of maintaining such a large lease space, our landlord has been working with us to keep come up with a solution to keep us around.  We are glad to say a solution was agreed upon which now allows us to remain open. We want to thank every one of you who have continued to support us thru all the years we have been in business. Without you all, we would not still be here today.  We are excited about this opportunity to continue our restaurant and we hope you all continue to enjoy the food we cook for the Portland/Vancouver area . Thank you for your feed back in the last 2 months as we are already in the process of implementing process and food improvements in our restaurant.

Crawfish Season is Back!
We are now starting to get consistent fresh shipments of Louisiana crawfish. You can expect Louisiana crawfish from pretty much now until mid July.  After July we will be offering local Oregon crawfish until approximately November. You can always find the latest availability of our seafood boils on the home page of our web site.  We update our web site every day with boils availability to ensure our customers who drive from afar are not disappointed when arriving.

Happy Hour - More Hours
In addition to our existing Monday-Friday happy hour from 3PM to 6PM & all day Sunday, we now host happy hour on Fridays & Saturdays from 10PM to 11PM.

Every happy hour we will be featuring our top selling 4 pint size cocktails at a great price - New Orleans Hurricane, Sweet Tea-O, Cajun Bloody Mary, and our K-Berry. You will now see our delicious Dungeness Cajun Crab Cakes every happy hour!

Mardi Gras on February 21
Mark your calendar folks!  Come join us for Mardi Gras "Fat Tuesday" on February 21. Where else should you go hang out, eat, collect some beads, and listen to New Orleans southern jams then a southern themed restaurant.  Our doors open at 3 pm and we will stay open to 11 pm that night. Sorry but we will not be taking reservations for that day and seating will be on a first come first serve basis.

Anniversary Celebration - March
Now that we're going to be sticking around, we'll be celebrating the 5th year anniversary of My Brother's Crawfish.  We are planning on a March 3rd Saturday night date. We will send out a facebook posting with details when our date is finalized.  Owners will be on site all day to answer any questions, take in comments, and share our business experiences for those interested.  We are looking forward to a fun filled evening with friends and fans.

Gift Cards
We will be offering gift cards very soon. Many of our customers have inquired about gift cards or gift certificates.  We are currently working very diligently to get our branded gift cards to our restaurant in the coming weeks.  We will send out a Facebook posting and update our web site when gift cards are ready.

Improvements
Over the last few months we have taken feed back from our customers and are already implementing some of those requests. As a young restaurant we learned a great deal from trial and error.
